Not preserving what is left. Repairing what was altered.
regenerate exists to run the largest industrial process in history in reverse, and to do it as an industry, with the economics to scale.

The energy is sunlight. The storage is depth and time. Each deployment earns an industrial return first and durable removal credits as the co-benefit, so the work is funded whether or not the carbon price moves.
